
Puddleduck Nannies founders Amanda and Alison started the agency when they realized it was impossible for them to meet the demands of their former careers when continually faced with the all-too-familiar shortcomings of third party recommended nannies. Having formed the business as a result of these experiences, they have committed themselves to a strict manifesto ensuring that the working practices of the company meet the prior demands of a working parent. We highlight that trust is the most important factor when allowing a carer into your home. We pride ourselves in going that extra mile to ensure that the triad of trust, continuity and care are the cornerstones of our service.
Our philosophy is very simple, if we wouldn’t hire the nanny ourselves, we wouldn’t expect anyone else to.
One of the questions we asked ourselves when starting Puddleduck was how can we match families with the perfect nanny quickly and efficiently? Here at Puddleduck Nannies we make the parent/nanny partnership less of a nerve-racking experience because we recognize quickly the requirements of both parties. We achieve this by visiting the family in their home environment so we are able get a feel of the families needs. This isn’t something we can do based on a 10 minute telephone conversation alone. We put forward no more than 2 or 3 pre-screened nannies based on our assessment. It’s a successful strategy that sets Puddleduck Nannies apart from other childcare agencies.
Based in central Esher, Puddleduck serves the whole of Surrey and surrounding areas whilst attracting excellent nannies from all over the UK. Every candidate that applies for representation is subjected to the most stringent security checks in all areas of their career, we interview them at length, covering their work, goals and professional practices.
